Stitch Fix #19 - February 2017

I decided to order a Fix for my birthday this year.  Stitch Fix was running a Valentine's special, and all the spreading the love of Stitch Fix made me want my own!

Here's a quick rundown of the service:

Stitch Fix is a service that will send you five articles of clothing (or purses, scarves, jewelry, and now shoes) picked by a stylist at whatever interval you choose based on a style profile you fill out about yourself.  You pay a $20 styling fee for each box, but that money goes toward anything you keep.  So as long as at least one item works for you, there's nothing to lose.  And if you keep all five items, you get a 25% discount.

You don't have to sign up for a certain time period between fixes.  You could try it one time and never get another fix or get another one 2 years later!  There's no cost commitment until you schedule a fix.  When the box ships, that's when you are charged the $20 styling fee.

You can create a Pinterest board dedicated to your style and put the link in your style profile so that your stylist can see what items you like and why.  I love when I receive something I actually pinned or something very similar to a pin on my board!

I asked for my favorite and longest running stylist Anne and told her to surprise me for my birthday.  I also said that inexpensive would be a plus!

Here's what I received in my 19th box:

(1) Urban Expressions Bianca Buckle-Detail Satchel $68

This bag looks very similar to the Urban Expressions Elisha Satchel from Fix #14.  I do like the neutral color and the cross body option, but I don't need two bags that are so similar.  I prefer my everyday purse a little smaller and a lot less expensive!  This bag is actually $4 more than the one I purchased!  Since I was wearing my Loveappella Keetin Top from Fix #16, I just left it on for the photos.

(2) Level 99 Primrose Skinny Jean $98

I love the dark green color of these pants.  They feel so good on too!  I just feel that they are a little too tight for my thighs.  I'm currently trying to lose weight, but I'm not sure I want to spend this much on a pair of jeans that I don't love the way I look in.  I tried them on with the 2 tops I received in this fix.  I'm still undecided on this one.

(3) 41Hawthorn Carla Crohet Detail Blouse $58

At first, I did not like the half sleeves on this shirt.  The top is very pretty, but I am not sure about the style.  I could go either way on this one.  It's a nice spring color and a light fabric.  What do you think?

(4) 41Hawthorn Tova Dress $64

I love the colors of this dress but am not a fan of the neckline.  It's v-neck with buttons and a partial collar.  The waistline is not my favorite either, but it does not look that bad on me.  I wore it with my Toms Crochet Flats from Fix #15.  This is one of those boxes that I feel like I need feedback.  What are your thoughts?

(5) Pixley Francisco Mixed Material Top $54

When I first pulled everything out of the box, this top was my favorite.  I love the back with the contrasting material and cut little cutout!  The sleeves on this top are also a little strange, but I think this one will be a keeper.  I tried it on with the Dear John Shorts from Fix #13.

Here's a shot of the back:
So now I have until tomorrow to decide.  I get three business days to decide what to keep and what to send back.  I fill out a checkout survey to give specific feedback on each item so that my next fix can be even better.  Then I put the rejects in a prepaid envelope and drop it off at the post office.
